How Much Does Filevine Cost in 2026? Pricing and Total Cost

Filevine's public pricing page says packages are custom built for each team and does not provide one standard per-user rate for the full platform. Request a written quote for the users, products, services, and contract terms your firm needs.

A practical buyer guide

For firms estimating the first-year and renewal cost of a Filevine proposal.

What affects a Filevine quote?

Ask Filevine to itemize the number and type of user licenses, included products, usage limits, implementation and configuration, data migration, training, support, and add-ons. Confirm contract length, renewal terms, and the cost of adding users. These are questions for your quote, not a claim that every customer pays a separate fee for each item.

Avoid treating an online estimate or another firm's quote as the price your firm will pay.

Compare first-year and ongoing costs

Request two totals: first-year subscriptions plus one-time implementation, migration, and training; and renewal-year subscriptions, support, add-ons, expected usage, and any contractual increase. For a hypothetical 10-user product at $99 per user per month plus $10,000 implementation, year one would be $21,880 before other fees. A hypothetical $129 per-user product without that fee would be $15,480. These figures illustrate the calculation and are not Filevine quotes.

Ask who maps documents, templates, notes, and relationships during migration, and who checks the imported records before the firm relies on them.

Check current trial availability

Filevine's former Core and Billing trial help link now redirects to a LOIS trial page. Ask Filevine whether a trial is available for the products in your quote, which products it includes, and what the current cancellation terms are. Do not assume a trial covers a customized deployment.

Compare like-for-like alternatives

CasePeer currently publishes Basic, Pro, and Advanced prices of $90, $130, and $160 per user per month. Clio's personal injury page advertises an introductory PI Essentials price starting at $149 USD per user per month. These are starting points, not like-for-like total costs. Compare the tier and services required for your actual workflow.

A PI firm should test medical-record organization, liens, settlement review, intake, reporting, permissions, and migration effort through a hands-on evaluation.
